Deana M. (Moore) Seitz

Deana M. (Moore) Seitz, 56, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

Deana was born on August 2, 1964, in Crestline, to William D. and Betty J. (Kilgore) Moore. She married Martin Seitz on February 14, 1983, and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2005. Deana loved her grandchildren, and attended the fair and their derby auto racing. She did everything with her grandchildren, and her life was centered around her family. She used to ride motorcycles, and her first motorcycle was a 350 Honda. She also enjoyed her horses when she was young.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Moore, of Mansfield; children, Betty (Tony) Seitz Dillon of Mansfield and Martin (Angel) Seitz of Ashland; step-children, Donna (Charles) Campbell of Vanceburg, KY, Susie (John) Parker of Lancaster, Ohio, and Connie (Grant) Taylor of Mansfield; grandchildren, Kaden Seitz, Trevor Dillon, Angelo Seitz, and Marthaniel Seitz; many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Kim (James) Parsons and William E. (Teri) Johnson both of Mansfield, Wayne Meadows of Chillicothe, and Ralph Meadows of Mansfield; half-sisters, Betty Huff and Kathy Branham both of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Linda Carter of Mansfield; her canine friend, Cooper; and her feline friend, Whiskers.

Deana was preceded in death by her father, William Moore; husband, Martin Seitz; sister, Gloria Baxter; and half-brother, Larry Carter.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2021, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with her grandson, James Taylor, officiating. Burial will take place in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
