Debra L. Dewalt

Debra L. Dewalt, age 66 of Galion, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Unger Park Post Acute. She was born on April 20, 1960, in Mansfield to Lester and Ruth (Bowles) Persinger.

Deb worked for General Mills, where she retired after 20 years. She was a loving woman with a great sense of humor and a talent for cheering anyone up, and she really liked her firemen. She adored her little puffball of a dog, Jersey, and she truly loved her Lord. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her mother Ruth Persinger; her brothers Michael (Nadine) Persinger and Paul (Dawn) Persinger; her special niece Jessie Allen; her nephews Rick (Cammie) Bellomy and Eric Bellomy; her stepson David Dewalt; and her step-grandchildren Ford, Memphis, and Audry.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rick L. Dewalt and her father Lester Persinger.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:00 am at Mansfield Memorial Park in Ontario.
