Dennis M. (Jr.) Shenberger

Dennis M. Shenberger, Jr., 76, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025.

He was born September 12, 1948, in Ashland, OH to the late Dennis M. and Nellie M. (Nickelson) Shenberger, Sr. On May 23, 2008, he married Vickie L. Kelley. Dennis worked for 35 years as a Journeyman Printer at Garbers and had also worked for API. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting and fishing. Dennis was talented and gifted in many areas including painting, craftsmanship, and woodworking, making many items including guitars out of cigar boxes. He enjoyed dancing and playing games, especially Euchre. Dennis was Vice-President of the VFW Auxiliary, was very social and outgoing, and was loved by everyone.

Along with his wife of seventeen years, Vickie Shenberger, Dennis is survived by three children, Mindy (Bradley) Howell of Smithville, Daniel (Angy) Shenberger of Ashland, and Robert Shenberger of Ashland; six grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Heinz, Jeremiah Lowe, Jayme (Cory) Givins, Cassondra, Vivian Shenberger, and Serenity Shenberger; nine great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Effie Smith and Irvin Shenberger.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dale Shenberger.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at VFW Post 9943, 806 Grace Street, Mansfield, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray medical expenses.
