Dolores Q Braden

Dolores Q. Braden, 68, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 15, 2021, peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.

          She was born in Sinajana, Guam, August 25, 1952, to Ignacio Castro and Josefa Quichocho Castro. She lived for the past 50 years in the Ashland and Mansfield area after moving here from Guam.

          Dee married the love of her life Ken Braden in Guam and moved to Ohio.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved having family gatherings. She loved to play softball and volleyball. She also loved playing bingo and card games with the family. Dee was a loving homemaker and a devout Christian.

          She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Braden; Her children; Lee Braden, Jason and Dana Braden, and Kelly Braden; Her 8 grandchildren Kori Braden, Kylie Braden, Brennyn Shonk, Daniel Braden, Jase Braden, Bryce Braden, Sylas Eberhart, and Kailyn Braden. Her nephews and nieces; John Sablan, John Thomas Sablan, Nicole Hamerick (Derick), Dorothy Fry (Allen), DeziRae Fry, Anthony Fry, Joe Sablan, Joey Sablan, Austin Sablan, Cathy Sablan, Bet Sablan (Howard), Shawn Dewalt, Layla Dewalt, Helen Sablan, Samantha Sablan, Jordan Quicksall (Trevor), Haylee Sablan, Destinee Sablan, Sieara Osborne, and Trenton Osborne. Her 2 great nieces and 11 great nephews and several family members and friends.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; Ignacio Castro and Josefa Quichocho Castro, Sister; Anna Sablan, and grandson; Zane Braden.

Calling hours will be at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio 44905 on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m.

          In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
