Donald Bradford Salyers

Donald Bradford Salyers, 52, of Mansfield, went with Jesus to join his loved ones on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Donald was born on February 18, 1963 in Mansfield and was the son of the late Donald Marcus and Anna Ruth (White) Salyers. He worked as a mechanic, loved listening to Bob Segar, and enjoyed going on road trips. Donald liked to spend time with his family and especially loved watching his little girl, Breanna, grow up. He was a kind soul and had many friends. Everyone was always welcome in his home. Donald is survived by three daughters, Candice, Alaina, and Breanna Dawn; one brother, Robert Salyers; and one sister, Nancy (Ray) Roman; two grandchildren, Trinity and Kynley; and ten nieces and nephews, Robert, Eric, Evan, Chandra, Matt (Dramelia) Cody (Lauren), Brandon, Adam, Holly, and Crystal (Joey); sixteen great nephews and nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his girlfriend, Melissa. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Anna Salyers; one sister, Tenna Ison; one brother-in-law, David Ison; and special friend, Edward "Butch" King. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Earl Tackett and Pastor Rick Pelfrey officiating.
