Ester J. Cyrus

Ester J. (Clem) Cyrus, 75, of Shelby, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 following an extended illness. Ester was born January 16, 1941 in Weston, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late George J. and Margaret Ann (Burkhammer) Clem. An avid coffee drinker, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting blankets, playing computer games, and watching soap operas. She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly (Charles) Conn, Lisa (James) Crouse, and Robin (Jose) Vasquez; daughter-in-law, Laura Marsh; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and very special granddaughter Beth (Robert) Adkins. The family says "We love you to the moon and back." Ester was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Cyrus; one son, Donald Marsh; one daughter, Kathleen D. Marsh; two great-granddaughters, Alyssa M. Vasquez and Breanna Cundiff; one brother, Richard Clem; and one sister, Janice Skinner.Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH.
