Franklin (Frank) Lee Crank

     Franklin (Frank) Lee Crank, aged 47, unexpectedly left to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20, 2021. The cause is believed to be a stroke or heart attack.

     Frank was born on April 26th, 1974 in Tampa, Florida to Wallace Frank Crank and Sharon Ann (Cline, Jarvis, Crank) Bowling.

     Frank was born at Tampa General Hospital and only weighed 4 lbs at birth. He was very little but so full of fight, that must have been the Irish blood from his dad.

     Frank had a tender heart and a big laugh. You would know he was there before you rounded the corner to see him. He loved a good shot of whiskey with a beer chaser and would always ask if he could buy you one.

     Frank previously worked with his dad Wallace as a Concrete Mason for many years and could build just about anything - later Frank went to work with his brother Harold (Clem) as a CNC Machinist. As a CNC Machinist, Frank could make those machines sing. He was good at his job and could quickly program a complicated CNC machine run.

     Frank loved to play the guitar and sing. He talked about doing that with his daughter Libby when she was younger.

     He was also proud of his sons Jonathon and Steven for the men they have become. Frank just recently met his grandson Carson Wallace Crank whom Frank said was a spitfire just like Steven.

    Frank is survived by his children: Son: Johnathon Lee Johnson of Tucson, Arizona

    Son: Steven Wallace Crank, daughter-in-law Morgan Jeanne Brown and grandson Carson Wallace Crank of Somerville, Ohio

    Daughter: Liberty Dawn Crank of Oxford, Ohio

    His mom and stepfather Sharon Ann & John Bowling, Brother: Harold (Clem) Winfield Jarvis & Kristin Vaden Lahti and sisters: Virginia Kay Hess, Rosanna Ramirez - sister-in-law: Charlotte Jarvis - Niece: Michelle Kay Smith - Nephews: Robert Alan Hess, Mikael Jean Pelletier, Mark & John Jarvis, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

    Frank was preceded in death by his father: Wallace Frank Crank - grandparents: John & Shirley Cline - Brother-in-law: Juan J. Ramirez - nephew: David Elbert Hess - nieces: Desha Ann Hess and Amanda Elizabeth Jarvis-Tucker

    Visitation will be Monday, September 27th, 2021 from Noon till 2:00 pm, Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, Ltd. at 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Burial will be at Lantz Cemetary - 1229 Lucas Rd, Mansfield, OH 44905 - Frank’s uncle Pastor Mark Cline will be officiating.
