Frederick "Fred" C. Harding

Frederick C.  “Fred” Harding, 70, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 29, 2021.

Fred was born on February 12, 1951, in Mansfield, to John E. and Betty L. (Noe) Harding. He graduated from Mansfield Sr. High in 1969 and retired from Osgar’s Auto Body.  He was a member of the VFW 3494.  He enjoyed riding his Kawasaki motorcycle, camping, NASCAR, and other auto racing events. In his younger years, he helped to build race cars. Fred also enjoyed cooking and grilling, and was known to say “I am the grill master” on more than one occasion. He also loved his dog, Sophie, and Carol’s dog, Josie.

He is survived by his son, Todd Harding; siblings, John Harding, Betty Hamler, and Dennis (Pat) Harding; his special friend, Carol Williams; and many nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Harding; and his brother, Charles Harding.

Friends may gather to celebrate Fred’s life from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Kindred Kove, 1710 Lor Kay Drive, Mansfield, OH 44905.
