Gary L. Casler, Sr., 69, of Bellville, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Gary was born June 23, 1952, in Mansfield, to Emmit O. Casler and Eula (Wellman) Casler Vigneron. Gary served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved his family and enjoyed history, especially historical wars. He also played war games on his computer.

He is survived by his son, Gary Casler, Jr. of Lima; grandson, Devon Casler of Bellfountaine; sister-in-law, Ingrid Casler; aunts, Hattie Stegall and Pauline Coles; and aunt and uncle, Alvis and Marge Wellman.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Tim Casler and Jack Casler.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
