Gary Edward Lee

Gary Edward Lee, 77, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Gary was born on May 18, 1944, in Portsmouth, to Sam and Virginia (Brown) Lee. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Gary is survived by his children, Tammy (Paul) Lester, Charles David Lee, Cindy Williams, Gary Ray (Jan) Lee, and Loretta (Darren) Shafer; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren; special companion, Rita Rand; and his hound dog, Sassy.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Carol Cooper-Dale, Kenneth Lee, Raymond Lee, Larry Lee, and Sharon Kay; and grandson, Stephen Lee.

Calling hours are from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2021at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Darren Shafer officiating. Burial will take place in Franklin Church Cemetery.
