George Champagne Obituary

George T. Champagne, 71, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021.

George was born on January 12, 1950, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to George M. and Hazel F. (Ferry) Champagne. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. He loved his family, and he enjoyed camping.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Tracy) Champagne of Chichopee, MA and his daughter, Nicole Shockley of Jeromesville; grandchildren, Samantha Shockley, Cody Shepherd, Ryan Shepherd, Michael Champagne, Colby Champagne, and Taryn Champagne; and five great-granddaughters.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hazel Champagne; and his wife, Rosemary Champagne.

Military services will be held at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St, Agawan, Massachusetts 01001.
