Glenn “Al” Heuss, 86, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021.
Al was born August 15, 1934, in Mansfield, to Glenn and Mary (Ludwig) Heuss. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially fishing at Lake Erie. He loved sports, especially the Cleveland Indians. He was a member of Community Bible Church.
Al is survived by four children, Kathryn Frazee, Vicky (George) Murphy, Donna Sue (Pam Power) Miller, and Deanna (Daryl) Yoder; brother, Paul (Susan) Heuss; grandchildren, Shelly, Touby, Rusty, Luke, Nick, Amy, Alaina, and Alissa; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a special neighbor, Ray, and his dog, “Max”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna Heuss; two infant sons; and siblings, Sandy Lewis and Kenny Heuss.
Calling hours will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the funeral home, with Pastor Sam Belsterling officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Union Cemetery in Perrysville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help defray the cost of services.
