Howard Anthony Myers, Jr., 81, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at his home.
Howard was born May 6, 1943, in Cleveland to Howard Anthony Sr. and Maxine Eleanor (Nay) Myers. He married Suzanne Annette Reading on June 11, 1965. Howard proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Viet Nam and was a retired avionics technician from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Masons and Lions and enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, doing Sudoku puzzles, and attending the grandkids’ sporting events.
Along with his wife of 59 years, Suzanne Myers, Howard is survived by his son, Jeffery (Cynthia) Myers of Westerville; his grandchildren, Cameron, Cayden, and Cole; two siblings, Maxine Louise Gregg of Mansfield and William Myers of Galion; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Myers.
Military services will be held at a later date in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
