Jack Henry Swartz, Jr., age 72, of Mansfield went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

Jack was born June 18, 1948 in Mansfield, Ohio to Jack H. and Lois (Woodgerd) Swartz, Sr. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Jack retired after 38 years from AK Steel and 15 years at Bunting Bearing. Jack loved woodworking, dirt track racing and especially loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Swartz; children, Jack A. (Angie) Swartz, Carrie L. (Jeff) Chio and Misty Steagall; brother, Frank A. (Rebecca) Swartz; grandchildren, Morgan (Derrick) Slone, Taylor (Michael Duncan), Paige (Dominick Sloan), and Wesley Swartz; great-grandchildren, Rilynn, Quinnley, and one on the way; extended grandkids, Cody, Raven, Halle and Elijah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many great friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jason A. Swartz.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 8, 2021, at Mansfield Baptist Temple from 1- 4pm. A luncheon will be provided.
