James Hesselden Obituary

James E. Hesselden, 94, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

James was born on January 31, 1928, in Mansfield, to Alden L. and Leota A. (Ackerman) Hesselden. He retired from Westinghouse after 41 years of employment. He celebrated 41 years of marriage to Phyllis (Demaline) Hesselden. They enjoyed traveling with their motor home for many years. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and reading.

Along with his wife, Phyllis, he is survived by daughters, Judith Ann (David) Webster of Danville, and Jennifer (Terry) Paramore of Mansfield; stepchildren, Karla Armand of Mansfield, and Mark (Cathy) Jackson of Kentucky; grandchildren, Michael, Bates, Megan, Eric, and Jessica; and several great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents; children, James Hesselden, Joanie Hesselden, and Jamie Hesselden; stepson, Wesley Jackson; and brother, Alden Hesselden.

Family and friends will have a celebration of James life at a later date.
