James Steward Obituary
James C. Steward, age 79 of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born on October 24, 1946, in Mansfield to the late Charles E. and Mary J. (Ritter) Steward.
Jim proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era.
He is survived by his children Ronald Mowry and Kristen Taylor; his grandchildren Jessica, Keaton, Kennedi, Morgan, and Hayden; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Evonne M. Steward; his parents Charles and Mary Steward and his brother Gary Steward.
Per his request, no formal services will be observed. A private burial will take place at Windsor Cemetery.
