James "Jim" Walker

James “Jim” Walker, a servant of Jesus Christ, passed to Heaven on September 29, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Jane Walker on January 10, 2017. Jim is survived by his 3 daughters Beth (Ken) Shire, Linda S. Walker, and Lois Walker, and bonus daughter Sherry Kidwell. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, James Swets and Lisa (Ron) Murdock, and 2 great grandchildren, Brandon and Braxton Murdock, as well as his sister Ruth Bodkins and his sister-in-law Gloria Walker and their families.

Jim Walker was a former pastor and representative for Bible Literature International, and he was also a volunteer chaplain for OhioHealth.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11:15 am at Freedom Ridge Church, 2200 Bedford Blvd., Ontario. Immediately following the memorial service, burial will take place at Mansfield Memorial Park.
