Janet Ruth (Kegley) Cushing, 59, of Mansfield, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 12, 2019.Janet was born on January 15, 1959 in Mansfield, to Oscar and Myrtle (Compton) Kegley. She enjoyed sewing and crafts. She loved gardening, nature and the outdoors, especially mushroom hunting. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by two children, Colby (Holly) Cushing & Carli Cushing , both of Mansfield; son-in-law, Adam McCormack; brother, Pete ( Gidget) Compton, of Rapid City, SD.; sister, Donna (Don) Holmes; two grandchildren, Drayven & Ariah McCormack; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Cushing; and father-in-law, Kenneth Cushing. Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
