Jason M. "Jaybird" Steward

Jason M. "Jaybird" Steward, 20, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Jaybird was born on October 6, 1994, in Mansfield, to Bruce A. Sr and Tamara (Russell) Steward. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Brogan. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on cars, and welding, and was happy to have a job that he loved to do. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Bruce Steward Jr and Dustin Steward both of Mansfield; one nephew, Brogan Steward; two grandmothers, Nancy Russell and JoAnn Robertson both of Mansfield: and fiancé, Ashly Biglin. Jaybird was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Robertson; and his two grandmothers, Ada Fogg and Edna Setser. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH.
