Jean Marie (Peck) Sackman

Jean M. (Peck) Sackman, 69, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Jean was born on July 28, 1952, in Mansfield, to Walter and Marilyn G. (Vanscyoc) Peck. She enjoyed camping with her family, and watching her son, Walter, race RC cars. Jean also loved crossword puzzles and listening to music by Yanni.   

She is survived by her children, Walter Sackman, Lois Johnson, Bryan (Michelle) Sackman, and Jon “Mickey” Sackman; grandchildren, Christopher Johnson, Micah Johnson Sr, Nicolle Reid, Audrey Longstreth, Charles Nace, Meranda Harford, Amber Nace, and Robert Nace; and great-grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Levi Johnson, Eden Johnson, Norah-Belle Johnson, Micah Johnson Jr, Elijah Reid, Elena Reid, Jaimeson Reid, April Nace, LeAnn Nace, Glenda Nace, and Emmalynn Longstreth.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Sackman; parents; and brother, David Peck.

         Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7,  2022, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt Hope Cemetery, Shiloh.
