Jeffrey L. Benedict, Sr., 65, of Bucyrus, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Jeffrey was born February 22, 1956, in Crestline, to Samuel S. and Elizabeth R. (Shaw) Benedict. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed working, and especially enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beatrice (Pickens) Benedict; children, David W. Eldridge, Richard Eldridge, Jeff Benedict Jr, Starla Hook, Tammy Eldridge, and Amy Lewis; many grandchildren; and siblings, Beverly Swihart, Guy A. Benedict, Julie Riggens, and Chuck Benedict.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Christine Rice, Rebecca Lawhun, Ronald Benedict, Sam Benedict Jr, Norman Benedict, and Sherry Duffer.

A celebration of life and family gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Aumiller Park, Bucyrus.
