Jerilyne Bristow

years and “Jeri” Bristow, 79, of Mansfield and formerly of Jackson, MI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Jeri was born February 3, 1945, in Jackson, Michigan, to Harry Allen and Kathleen Rosella (Murphy) Bristow. He married Joan Marlene (Zeigler) Bristow in 1974, and she passed away on June 26, 2022. Jeri worked for Jackson Public Schools for over 35 years and retired as head chief custodian. He was a man of few words, who was a hard worker that loved and supported his family. He enjoyed rebuilding motorcycles and hill climbing in his younger years.  He also enjoyed taking his wife of 48 years on long drives in the country.        

He is survived by his children, Renay (Chip) Graham, Rodney Nastally, Ricky (Michelle) Nastally, Robin (Kevin) Linstedt, and Nicolas (Kristin) Bristow; twelve grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren, whom he adored; and brothers, Chuck (Melanie) Bessey and Bill Bessey.

Along with his parents, Jeri was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Bristow; sons, Randy Nastally and Jason Bristow; two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Roseland Memorial Gardens, Jackson, Michigan.

Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, is handling the arrangements.
