Jerry Lambert Obituary

Jerry Lane Lambert, 69, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Avita Hospital in Ontario.

Jerry was born August 9, 1952 to Henry L. and Deletha E. (Haffa) Lambert.

Jerry enjoyed helping his friends and participating in all sorts of outdoor activities.  He was a longtime resident of the WATTS home in Mansfield, which he shared with his friends and roommates.  Jerry enjoyed working at RNI, where he made many friends over the years.  He was especially fond of the Boy Scouts, earning badges and attending their yearly summer camps.  Jerry was a wonderful and kind helper; he was known for his pleasant smile and always helpful attitude.  An all-around happy guy, Jerry was known to say “I’m happy now”, especially while enjoying his favorite meal, or dancing to one of his favorite songs.

Jerry is survived by five siblings, Dave Lambert of Galion, Larry (Darlene) Lambert of Caledonia, Bonnie Campbell of Galion, and Connie (Jim) Blackstone of Ontario.

Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by four siblings, Majorie, Clinton, Terry, and Linda Lambert.

Memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield.  Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Lucas.
