Jimmy D. Curry, Sr.

Jimmy D. Curry, Sr., 76, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Jimmy was born on May 17, 1947, in Omar, West Virginia, to Odessa Conley. He lived all his life in Mansfield, Ohio. He was a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and loved to collect many things. He loved fishing, camping, and outdoor activities. He also enjoyed visiting with his friends. Jimmy retired from Mansfield City Water Department.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lois Curry; two sons, Jimmy Jr. (Keisha) Curry and Mike Curry Sr.; five grandchildren, Ashlea (Tyler) Botdorf, Jimmy Curry III, Mike Curry Jr., Haily Curry, and Kaitlin (Zack) Lykins; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul (Mary) Conley.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Odessa Conley; and brothers, Timmy Conley, Richard (Pam) Conley, and Lundy (Mary) Conley.

Calling hours will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Tackett officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
