John D. Kiser

John D. Kiser, 64, of Mansfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 2, 2021.

John was born August 10, 1956, in Mansfield, to Hubert M. and Mildred L. (Fultz) Kiser. He married his sweetheart, Cheryl (Webb) Kiser on June 5, 1976, and she survives. John was an active member of Taylortown Community Church. He loved spending time with his family and loved taking care of them. He enjoyed detailing cars, hunting, shooting guns, watching motorcycle racing, and music.

Along with his wife, Cheryl, he is survived by his children, Jeremy (Kera) Kiser of Katy, TX, Justin Kiser of Ontario, and Chelsea Kiser and her fiancé, Robin Schroeder of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Jena Kiser, Brendan Kiser, Gracie Kiser, and twins, Jazmin Kiser and Jayden Kiser; sisters, Brenda “Kay”  (Tom) Lawson of Manchester, Ohio, Denise (Nick) Cannell of Columbus, and Donna Kiser of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Patty Arnett of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Barbara Lewis and Hubert Mitchell Kiser.

Calling hours will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Taylortown Community Church, 2656 Taylortown Road, Shelby, Ohio 44875. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Doug Tackett officiating.
