John R. Lewis

John R. Lewis, 64, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

John was born on November 19, 1959, in Mansfield, to Otha R. and Audra E. (Barber) Lewis. He loved kids and animals. His favorite holiday was Halloween, and he enjoyed watching Bigfoot, horror movies, The Three Stooges, Gilligan’s Island, and The Flintstones.

He is survived by his siblings, Myron (Buna) Barber of Mansfield, Robert (Brenda) Deweese of Shelby, Dwight (Carol) Lewis of Mansfield, and Dana (Richard) Lane of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Otha and Audra Lewis; and his nephew, Myron Anthony Barber.

Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Private burial will be in Windsor Park Cemetery.
