On Friday, January 24, 2020 God in his special way and at his perfect time picked from the mist our beloved brother, Johnny Anthony Robertson, Jr. and took him to his heavenly rest where his spirit will live on with Him forever.
Johnny “Johnny Rob” Anthony Robertson, Jr., 38, was born August 5, 1981 in Mansfield, Ohio to Johnny Anthony Robertson, Sr. and Tira (Jackson) Robertson. He resided in Mansfield most of his life before moving to Columbus. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Johnny loved life and lived it to its fullest.
He leaves to treasure his memories: his parents, Johnnie Anthony Robertson, Sr. and Tira Robertson; three sons, Syrese and Anthony Robertson both of Mansfield and Jayce Robertson of Columbus; one daughter, Azariyah Robertson of Mansfield; four brothers, Marquese Robertson, Anthony Robertson, Suqaone Robertson, and Tyrone Williams all of Mansfield; five sisters, Niamh Jackson (Joy), Tira Robertson (Robert), Seabreania Robertson, and Laura Robertson all of Mansfield and Brittany Hawkins of Columbus; grandmother, Nonia Jackson; uncles, Rahman (Danita) Jackson and Tracy Robertson both of Columbus, John (Joy) Jackson of Kansas City, MO; aunts, Ann Montgomery, Linda Robertson, and Sonja Jackson all of Mansfield, Lue Shirley of Columbus, and Kalima Jackson of St. Louis, MO; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and a special friend, Shannon Brooks.
Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Jackson, Ozella Robertson, Aubrey Miller, and Arrazzaq Shkir; and one aunt, Georgia Boyd.
Calling hours will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2020 at The New Community Temple COGIC, 338 Harker Street, Mansfield, OH. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Reverend Henry J. Bradley, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the home of his sister Niamh Jackson 116 Grasmere Avenue, Mansfield.
