Johnny R. Stevens

Johnny R. Stevens, 64, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Johnny was born on June 2, 1957, in Lorain, to Virgil R. Stevens and Shelby (Carroll) Brown. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and watching sports, especially football and basketball.

He is survived by his children, Michael Fox and Athena Rogers, both of Mansfield; granddaughter, Angelea Stevens; siblings, Thyotha Stevens and Vivian Stevens, both of Mansfield, and Virgil “V.R.” (Tammy) Stevens of Florida; and his ex-wife, Brenda Stevens of Mansfield.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Dreama Stevens, Mary Stevens, and Deborah (Stevens) Robson.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery.
