Karen Jean Clemens, 78, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021.
Karen was born April 28th, 1943 in Mansfield to John and Evelyn (Miller) Johnson. She attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Mansfield and retired from St. Peter’s Daycare. She was married to John “Jack” Clemens on January 22nd, 1972 and they would be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next month. She was an amazing woman with a huge heart! She loved life and would do anything for her family.
Karen is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Clemens; daughter, Mary (Glenn) Worthington; stepson, Doug (Christine) Pifer; grandchildren, John (Heather) Worthington, Jacob (Josey) Worthington, Leah (Maison) Worthington, Elizabeth (Keegan) Worthington, Sara (Joey) Spurlock, Toby Pifer, and Chelsie Pifer; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Willard (Dee) Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Johnson; and mother-in-law, Mary Clemens.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. January 4th, 2022 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery in Shelby, Ohio.
