Kathryn Ilene (Elliott) York

Kathryn Ilene (Elliott) York, 75, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.

Kathryn was born September 16, 1948, in Mansfield, to Norman C. and Marilyn J. (Schulte) Elliott. She had been employed at Westinghouse and Miller’s Jewelers and was a member of VFW Post 9943.

Kathryn is survived by five sisters, Brenda Elliott of TN, Frances Harrington, Patricia Stotts, Ellen Karsmizki, and Norma Karsmizki all of Mansfield; one brother, Norman (Lorie) Elliott of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Marily Elliott; and grandparents.

Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Ziadeh officiating. Burial will be at  a later date.
