Kenneth Virgil Hively

Kenneth Virgil Hively, 31, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 11, 2024.

Kenneth was born April 18, 1993, in Mansfield, the son of Stanton Lee Hively and Tina Lynn Thompson. He worked in various factories and on construction crews. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and tinkering around with anything.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Kavian Hively; his girlfriend, Monica Dees of Mansfield; his mother, Tina Thompson of Mansfield; his father, Stanton Lee (Michelle Lynne) Hively of Columbia Station; grandparents, Virgil “Jr” and Trudy Hively of Mansfield, Randy Thompson of Bellville; step grandfather, Virgil Branham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rhonda Branham.

No services are planned at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made towards Kavian Hively’s college fund in care of Trudy Hively or to an Opioid Addition Counseling facility of the donor’s choice.

Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
