Lacey N. (Young) Gerich

Lacey N. Young Gerich, 28, of Berlin Heights, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Lacey was born on July 15, 1994, in Galion, Ohio, to Naamon F. and Christy A. (Stout) Young. Lacey loved being a mom, which was the most important accomplishment for her. She enjoyed the outdoors and photography and was currently enrolled in college, pursuing a nursing degree.

Along with her mother, Christy Young, Lacey is survived by her fiancé, Steve Jagel, II; daughter Charlotte Jagel; stepdaughter, Annalise Jagel; siblings, Keith (Heather) Stout, Lindsey Smith, and Kevin Young; two nieces, Faith Smith and Kendall Smith; and nephew, Roman Holsinger.

Lacey was preceded in death by her father.

Calling hours will be held at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023, and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Pelfrey and Pastor Larry Hill officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
