Obituary
Larry Lee Daniel, 71, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
Larry was born August 2, 1950 in Williamson, WV to General H. and Macie F. (Bias) Daniel. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Larry loved his family and loved to visit with them. He also enjoyed shopping and playing his Xbox.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Daniel and Misty Williamson of Shelby; grandchildren, Isaiah Daniel, Sierra Groves, William Gibson; brothers, Larry Keith (Carolyn) Daniel of Mason, WV, Albert (Carol) Daniel of Baraboo, WI, and Tony Daniel of Ashland; aunts and uncles, Nancy and M. “Dean” Zellner, and Dora and Jerry Zellner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leona Daniel; and son, Earl Daniel.
Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with his uncle, Dean Zellner officiating. Full military honors will be performed by the Richland Co. Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
