Laura M. (Lee) Weisman

We remember Laura (Lee) Weisman, whose spirit departed from us November 7, 2024, at the age of 49. Laura was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness. She always showed a deep compassion towards her family, friends, and anyone she crossed paths with.

Laura was an outstanding mother. She always did any and everything she could for her children. When Laura became a grandmother, it was almost like it was her calling. She loved those two little boys and she would spend every moment with them if she could.

In her free time, Laura spent most of her time crafting, crocheting, wasting time and money shopping with her daughters, babysitting her grandbabies, working part time at Twin Lakes Golf Course with her sister, and taking spontaneous motorcycle rides with Scott.

She is survived by her daughters Celeste (Niles) and Allison (Gavin); her longtime partner Scott Smith along with his two children Sarah and Tyler; her grandsons Grayson and Jaxon; her mother Evelyn; and her sister Stephanie and her furbabies Sami and Boo.

She is preceded in death by her father Michael; her maternal grandparents Mickie and Virgil; her paternal grandparents Tereva and Bob.

The family wants to thank everyone for their support of Laura throughout her whole journey.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Services will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery.
