Lawrence Stephen Ritchey, age 29, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on July 23, 2022, in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Stephen was born to his father Stephen Ritchey and mother Evangeline Turner Ritchey. He grew up in Ohio and Texas eventually calling Mansfield his home. He graduated from Madison Comprehensive High School with the class of 2012. Later in 2021, he went on to live with his half brother Lucas in Arizona until he passed.
Stephen enjoyed skateboarding, composing music, and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a man of God and was passionately devoted to his faith. Stephen was very gentle and easy with which to talk. He cared more for others than himself never turning anyone away if they needed help. From giving the last dollar he had to someone in need, to giving a homeless man the shirt off of his back, Stephen was truly altruistic; a man of compassion. Perhaps what was most beautiful of all about him was that despite what was thrown at him, Stephen challenged the putrid evil of this Earth and fought for his dreams.
Stephen is survived by his half brothers Lucas Hagedorn and Christopher Ritchey, his father Stephen Ritchey, and his mother Evangeline Turner. His memory is cherished by all of the brothers, sisters, and other family that Stephen made wherever life took him.
