Lillie A. Adkins

Lillie A. Adkins, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away at the age of 42, surrounded by loved ones on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Lillie was born on August 13, 1979, to Tobias Issac Adkins and Rosia Lee Hall. Lillie attended school at Mansfield Senior High and graduated from Ross Medical school as a pharmacy technician. Lillie was a strong woman with a heart of gold; she was a devoted mother and a loyal friend, she loved all things Halloween and Horror themed, she loved spending time with family and friends, and playing pool with her brother.

Lillie is survived by her mother, Rosia Lee Adkins; her daughter, Alexas Rose Adkins; aunts, Vonda “Fay” Dillon and Mary K. Lewis; uncles, Elmer and Loretta Hall, Bobby Hall, Larry Hall; siblings, Richard and Judy Hall, Stanley and Aliva Gilbert, Norman and Laura Adkins, and Robert Adkins; her fiancé, Timothy Sloulin and his children, Jasmine Sloulin, Harley Sloulin, and Noah Sloulin; and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lula and Norman Adkins, Alvia Jean Hall, and Robert Hall; aunts, Geraldine Lawrence, Gladys Juanita Trent, Macie Angela Hall, and Carolyn Adkins; uncles, Darrell Keith Adkins and Charlie Adkins; and her father, Tobias Issac Adkins.

Thank you to Ohio Health Palliative Care and Hospice for the great compassion and support you showed to Lillie and our family.  Thank you to the Hospital Chaplains that would come sing to her and pray with her whenever she asked. Thank you to all the friends and family that prayed over Lillie for peace and comfort. A special thank you to the 3rd floor nurses and respiratory therapists who would sit in her room and chart just because she asked you to stay with her or just hold her hand when she was scared. Lillie is going to truly be missed by her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Tackett officiating.
