Lucille Wilson, 97, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Kingston of Ashland.
Lucille was born on February 4, 1925, in Franklin County, KY, to Esta and Anna (Sexton) Hill. Lucille attended Lincoln Heights Baptist Church for many years, where she taught Sunday School. She was employed by Dominion Electric in Mansfield for 21 years. When younger, she enjoyed camping with her family. She was a great southern cook and all family members had favorite dishes she made. She was an accomplished quilter, seamstress, and embroiderer. She was friendly to all, knew no strangers and had a generous spirit. Most of all, her love for family was strong as was her faith in God. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Les) Frontz of Mansfield; son-in-law, Phil Beer of Columbus; grandchildren, Peter (Abby) Beer of Lucas, Don Parsons of Corpus Christi, TX, Rodney (Sara) Parsons of Corpus Christi, TX, and Steve (Colleen) Beer of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Rory, Liam, Sullivan, and Nate.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Wilson; daughter, Patricia Beer; three sisters; seven brothers; .
Private burial took place in Lantz Cemetery.
