Lynn Reid Schoonmaker

Lynn Reid Schoonmaker, 68, of Lexington, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Lynn was born May 25, 1952 in Wheeling, West Virginia to James V. and Marilyn (Cunningham) Schoonmaker.  After high school graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. Upon returning home, he pursued a career as a bricklayer.  Lynn attended Berean Baptist Church and Crossroads Community Church. 

Lynn is survived by two children, Beth (Matt) Bachmann of Colleyville, Texas and Aaron Schoonmaker of Hudson, Ohio; three grandchildren, Lily, Max, and Nolan; former wife, Carol Schoonmaker; sister, Sherry (Perry) Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Larry Schoonmaker.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Berean Baptist Church, 2145 Middle Bellville Rd, Mansfield, OH 44904. Friends may greet family and offer their condolences one hour prior to service.
