Mark A Ramsey

Mark A. Ramsey, 63, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Mark was born on April 3, 1959, in Mansfield, to Glen C. and Rella G. (Hicks) Ramsey. Mark was employed for over 23 years at UH Samaritan Medical Center. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He enjoyed working and helping others, and was one of a kind. Mark had a huge heart and many friends. He also loved his animals very much.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony Ramsey and Mark Ramsey II, both of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Terry Ramsey of Mansfield, Linda Burris of New Washington, and Jennifer (Roger) Howard of Mansfield; and additional family members, Sean Rush and LCPL Bishop, Terry.

Along with his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his siblings, Brian Ramsey, Charlie and Deb Ramsey, and Glenna Hampton.

Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
