Mary E. (Nichols) Finkey, 93, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Mary was born December 30, 1930, in Butler, Ohio to Homer and Mabel (Hunt) Nichols. She married Thomas Finkey on August 18, 1950, and they would of celebrated their 74th Anniversary this August. Mary was a member of First Assembly of God. She enjoyed farming and gardening and loved raising her four children.
Along with her husband, Thomas Finkey, Mary is survived by her four children, Don T. Finkey, Linda K. (Ron) Riei, Tim A. Finkey, and Christopher W. (Sandy) Finkey; four grandchildren, Cynthia (Nick) Palange, Alexander Finkey, Krystal (Todd) Wynn, and Emily (Stephen) Armstrong; and six great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Spencer Wynn, Alliana, Bennett, and Cienna Armstrong, and Micheal Palange.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.
Psalm 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, in Mansfield Cemetery.
