Michael J. Jacobs

Michael J. Jacobs, 64, of Mansfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Michael was born July 17, 1958, in Mansfield, to Kenneth Jacobs and Mary (Woodruff) Jacobs Rush. He married his sweetheart, Lynn (Matz) Jacobs on December 19, 2009, and she survives. He was a member of Mansfield Church of God on Stewart Road and enjoyed golfing, camping, and vacationing at Myrtle Beach.

Along with his wife, Lynn, he is survived by his daughters, Angel Bell and Kassie (Jarrod) Barber; stepson, Cody Matz; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his stepmother, Shirley Jacobs; sister, Mary (Bud) Windsor; and brother, David (Denise) Jacobs.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and stepson, Robert Matz.

Calling hours will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Mansfield Church of God, 1425 N. Stewart Road, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Tim Houston officiating. Burial will be at Franklin Cemetery.
