Michael F. Vines

Michael F. Vines, 67, formerly of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Michael was born on May 8, 1955, in El Paso, Texas, to Troy “Curly” E. and Grogoria “Gloria” (Granado) Vines. He retired from CSX Railroad, after over 40 years of employment. Michael attended Little Flock Fellowship Church and was a member of Moose Lodge #2511 and Eagles Aerie #336. He was a loving father and grandfather. Michael was an avid golfer and Cleveland Browns fan, and enjoyed horseshoes, cards and watching his grandkids play sports, cheer, and perform in marching band.

He is survived by his son, Adam Vines of Heath, Ohio; grandchildren, Lukka Vines and Karissa Vines both of Heath, Ohio; and sisters, Debra Jean (Vines) Vest of Arkansas and Teresa “Terry” Marie Vines of California.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Jesse Godare officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
