Milton Cliford Farst

Milton Clifford Farst, 81, of Mansfield, passed away on Thur, January 31, 2019 from a lung condition at Avita Hospital.Milton was born on January 20, 1938, in Lexington, Ohio to Delbert J. and Mary E. (Hammett) Farst. He did not know a stranger. He was a people person. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family, especially attending family reunions. He enjoyed watching old western movies and playing horseshoes. He was a lifelong Truck driver, working for several companies including Pringles, Shaffer, and Baker. He is survived by his former wife of 49 years, Eileen Farst; their four children; Norma (Streib), Randy (Cherie) Farst, Terri Johnson, and Brenda (Bill) Leding; five grandchildren; four siblings, Mary Jane Riddle, of Bellville, Betty Pipes, of Mansfield, Nancy (Tom) Llewellyn, of Butler, and Beverly (Dave) Clever, of Lexington; and numerous nieces and nephews, some of which were very special.He was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings, Richard Farst, Selma Bishop, Donald Farst, Nina Mowry, Paul Farst, Kenneth Farst, and Margie Dillon.Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with food & fellowship immediately following the service.
