Miriam N. Moore, age 90 of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Lexington Court Care Center. She was born on August 9, 1935, to the late Russell O. and Miriam E. (Sunkel Schultz) Emerson.
Miriam attended Diamond Hill Cathedral for many years, and she recently began attending services held at her apartment complex when her health started to decline. She was an avid bingo player and reader, and she loved her game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune and Let’s Make A Deal.
She is survived by her sons Adam Moore and Michael Moore; her sisters Martha Robertson and Rhea Hammond; her grandchildren Ryan Moore and Amber Duffey; and her great-grandchildren Avarie Duffey, Payson Moore, Anakin Duffey, Bryden Moore, Alistair Duffey, and Thatcher Moore.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Marcia Pilo, her parents Russell and Miriam Emerson, and her siblings Robert Emerson, Betty Perry, Mabel Jordan, Daisy Hardy, Gladys Maxhimer, Elisha John Emerson, William Emerson, and Patricia Chelski.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Services will take place at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Windsor Cemetery.
