Norbert Vasquez

Norbert Vasquez, 75, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, June 12, 2015. Norbert was born on June 6, 1940, in Logan, WV, to Julian and Mamie (Hall) Vasquez. He loved being with his family, and was an avid auto racing fan. He also enjoyed watching the birds in his yard. He is survived by three children, Danny (Tammy) Vasquez, Carl Vasquez, and Brenda (Dave) Nichols, all of Mansfield; thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer, Danny Jr., Margaret, Robin, Nikki, Michael, Justin, Curtis, Carl, Jr., April, Kennith, Linda, Tiffany, Brittany, Shannon, Leona, Ada, Dustin, Katy, and David Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Samantha, Bree, Chris, Christopher, Nate, Tommy, Elliot, Veronica, Sam, Timmy, Jamie, Felicia, Kimmy, Tyler, Briana, Jordan, Bradly, Alex, Anbria, Dillion, Tanni, Norberto, Isaiah, Nick, Shannon, Kyle, Ridick, Conner, Pipper, Landon, Joshua, Jullian, Jocelyn, and Stephen.Norbert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Lou Vasquez; and three brothers, Joe Vasquez, Virgil Vasquez, and Pete Vasquez. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, with Pastor Earl Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at Springmill Cemetery.
