Norma J. (McCarrick) Cushing

Norma J. (McCarrick) Cushing, 94, of Mansfield, was carried away by angels and taken to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Norma was born on April 8, 1930, in Mansfield, to James and Mabel (Fisher) McCarrick. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church for 50 years. Norma was a homemaker and loved to take care of her family. She enjoyed baking and cooking and would do anything for anyone.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca “Becky” Perkins and Jim (Rita) Cushing; grandchildren, Kristy, Jason (Holly), Jimmy, Colby, and Carli; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchild; and brother, John McCarrick.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Cushing; son, Norman Cushing; and 11 siblings.

Calling hours will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
