Odetta J. (Zellner) Smith

Odetta J. (Zellner) Smith, 85, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020.

Odetta was born on November 23, 1934, in Lucas to Charles R. and Dora M. (Ohler) Zellner.  She enjoyed going to church, coloring and crocheting.

She is survived by six children, Jack Smith, Cecilia Mash, Rick Smith, Corrine (Jeff) Tipple, Tammy Hensley, and Leasa (Bart) Leach; fourteen grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jerry (Dora) Zellner, Mylan Dean (Nancy) Zellner,  Steven (Eloise) Zellner, Chester (Karen) Zellner, Rosella (Ron) Hannawalt, Diana Zellner, Gloria Edwards, Beverly Zellner, Philip (Treva) Zellner, and Roger (Karen)Zellner.

Odetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Timothy Smith; grandson, Nick Tipple; and brothers, Joe Zellner and Arthur Zellner.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Milo Johnston officiating. Burial will take place at Lantz Cemetery.
