Pamela Jean Howard, age 71 of Mansfield, passed away Sunday morning, May 10, 2026, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 24, 1954, in Mansfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl Richard Arnold and Mary Ellen (Beatty) Brogan. She married the love of her life, Edward L. Howard, on October 8, 1969, in Clintwood, VA, and were together for over 56 years.
Pamela was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who devoted her life to her family. She especially loved her grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them. Pamela was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed listening to his music.
She is survived by her loving husband Edward Howard; her children Richard L. (Julie A.) Howard and Mary Jo Buckner (Charles Workman); her grandchildren Devin (Dreiven) Keith, Robbie (Jenn) Keith, Jackson Howard, Travis L. (Brittany) Buckner and Tyler Buckner (Tim Sexton); her eight beautiful great-grandchildren; and half-sister Vickie (Sal) Farranto.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earl Arnold and Mary Ellen Brogan and two children Jackie Lee Howard and Anita Marie Howard.
Calling hours will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Humble officiating.
