Patricia Ann (Dyer) Short

Patricia Ann Short, 64, of Caywood, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2022.

She was born October 6, 1957, in Mansfield, Ohio to Richard Forest and Stella Charlene (McGuire) Dyer. In 1977, Patricia married the love of her life, Jim Short of Mount Gilead, Ohio. She devoted her life to her Savior Jesus Christ, her husband, children, and grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly.  Her favorite hobbies were gardening and quilting.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Dustin Short of Caywood, KY; daughter, Alicia (Short) Nantz of Clarkson, KY; nine grandchildren, Dedrick, Joseph, Braxon, Braylan, Jayce, Dean, Conner, Colton, and one coming in May 2022; brothers, Richard Dyer of Willard, OH and Forest Lee (Beth) Dyer of Mansfield, OH; sisters, Dee (Justin) Sims of Lietchfield, KY, Jenny (Curtis) Barnett of Willard, OH, and Mary (Johnny) Knipp of Mansfield, OH; aunt and uncle, Margaret and Larry Gerhart of Coal Grove, KY; and numerous family and friends.   

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Short in 2018; parents, Richard Forest Dyer and Stella Charlene (McGuire) Dyer; and twin granddaughters.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Bible Baptist Church, 727 South Myrtle Avenue, Willard, OH  44890.
