Patsy Lou (Newsome) Bentley

Patsy Lou (Newsome) Bentley, 69, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 14, 2020.

Patsy was born on July 30, 1951, in Pikeville, KY, to Russel and Elsie (OakQuinn) Newsome. She was a member of Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church. Patsy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She was known for her good cooking, and loved the outdoors, bird watching, sightseeing, shopping, and enjoyed rides in the country.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Virl Bentley; sons, Tony (Tonya) Bentley of Marion and Shane (Rosa) Bentley of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Darrell (Bonicha) Newsome of Virginia and Danny (Bernie) Newsome of Upper Sandusky.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Newsome.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Springmill Cemetery, with Pastor Earl Tackett officiating.
